What should I be expecting with with my '11 KK? I barely get 260 miles per complete fill up. I do 80% of my driving on the highway and never really gas it that much. I was under the impression that I would get min 300 per tank. Will it get better with age? I have about 1300 miles on it right now.

Most of my mileage is done on the highway and I get between 17-18 MPG in winter gas. I have 22K miles on her now. I would change the oil at or around 2K and you should see better mileage. Its all about breaking in the engine.

I just took a trip to Dundee, MI and back today. 300 miles round trip. 18.5 mpg. One tank. Typical around town is 15mpg or about 270 miles until refill. Visited a little shop called Cabelas  225K s.f. of ANYTHING & EVERYTHING for outdoor living. First time there. Gotta go back.

Happy :JEEPIN:

I've got about 1700 miles on my 2011 Liberty. Driving is a mix but mainly suburban. Mileage is between 13-14 mpg. Very disappointed! My sis' Suburban does as well.

You will not see good mpg's till you have about 10,000+ miles. What you are seeing now is expected for your mileage, driving conditions, and still burning winter blended gas.

Thanks for the info all. I can't wait for it to get better. This is killing me. The blazer I traded in got better milage and it was lifted with 31 mudders and the gas hog 4.3.

But the 4.3 had more useable low end torque then your 3.7 does, the 3.7 likes the higher rpm's.

Just be happy your not getting 9-10mpg's like I'm getting, but I knew what knid of mpg's I was going to get and don't care anyways, and yes my Liberty is my daily driver.I only track my mpg's for any issues that may not be otherwise noticeable otherwise.

I have a '11 Liberty Limited with about 2300 miles and I get between 17-18 mpg. It wasn't easy because when I first got it, it was 14-15 mpg because of my driving habits (have a '07 300C). Once I convinced myself I'm not driving a HEMI, I changed my driving habits. Now when I get in the 300C, my wife tells me I drive like an old person. Most of this is rural city driving. Will put it to the test on the hwy this April when I go to Ft. Lauderdale from Tampa.

I live about 20 mins south of there in Toledo LoL.

On topic I have squeezed 302 miles out of a tank mostly highway driving on my 08. Usually when we go up to my g/f's cottage I average 17 mpg there and back.

May as well weigh in.
I have 17,000 miles on my 2010..had it just about 11 months. I changed my spark plugs and have since been easily getting 16-17 around town and mid 17s to low 18s on the highway. My best suggestion is to use the cruis control! It saves me a bunch on fuel when going to work...I have a 70 mile round trip every day for work at the moment so I've been getting it in with the road time! :SOMBRERO:
