Am I correct in thinking the TPMS is generic in the KJ.
I want to put Rubicon wheels on my Libby after a 2 1/2" JBA lift.
I'm not sure if I need to swap the old sensors to the new Rubicon wheels.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
John :JEEPIN:

TPSMonitors are not generic. The earlier ones differ from ones that I believe are 2005 and newer.

Anyway, if you use your existing sensors you should be ok, may have to reprogram them if you are 2004 or older. You might replace the soft parts on the stems just for insurance against leaks.

Not sure if your going to keep your stock wheels for winters or anything? I just bought new ones from my local parts store $40 each.

I have never had mine changed out, and I am changing tires again (only 3rd set of tires)
Should I go ahead and change out them on all 5 wheels? $12 a pop...
