Mine was just doing it before because of the crap stock tires. Put on real tires with the lift and now it barely does it at all. So far no complaints with either the RK lift or the Duratracs. :pepper:

FDez, KK looks awesome, love the MT classic II's. I've been on this site a lot since I bought my KK and have to say the classic II's really make it look bad booty (instead of the stock or feminine wheels). I'm looking into buying a lift & new wheels/tires, I was going to copy yours, but I found a blacked out version of the classic II's and can't wait to put them on. I have a sport with the black textured trim, I think it will really set it off as far as starting the mods.

Thanks. I love my Jeep. It is looking exactly as I hoped it would. Now I need to make more "usuable". Skid plates, tow hooks, rock sliders, etc. I was actually thinking about going with some old school Ansen Sprints but found the Mickey's used for real cheap. I am a muscle car guy at heart so shiney things are good. :pepper:

My last vehicle before the KK was a Black 2008 Frontier. I had some sweet black 18" wheels on there and it looked Badbooty. Black on black really looks great. Make sure to post up some pics once you get the new wagonwheels on there. :-)r

Found some pics of my Fronty:

Allright, I'm ready to start my mods. Could you do me a favor. I want mtt wheels, how do u know what measurements to get & backspacing? If your set up is working good for you could you please list exactly what u needed? And guesstimate of cost I'm thinking about $1500? Appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I'm ont sure how much help I can be. I bought the wheels used off of ebay. I contacted the seller and he said they's fit so I put in a very low bid for a set of 5 figuring I wouldn't win and actually forgot all about it. 7 days later I got an email saying I won since I was the only bidder. Luckily, the seller was honest and they did end up fitting. I know they are an older set that he said came off of a wrangler.

Mine do stick out about 1/4"-1/2" from the fenders. With an RK lift and 245/75 Duratracs the only rubbing I get is when I turn the wheel in reverse (not sure why it is only in reverse :? ).

I do have an extra wheel that I haven't gotten a tire for yet in my basement. I looked it over and there are a lot of numbers stamped in it but I have no idea what they mean. There is no straight forward numbers for backspacing, offest , etc. (For some reason I want to say the offset is 0 but I have nothing to base that off of).
I can get some pics of the back of the wheel if that would help. Just let me know. Sorry I can't be of more help.

If there is anyone else on the board that can tell me what to look for on the wheel please chime in.

I was looking to buy those mtt black classic II's but they don't come out for another 6 - 8 weeks. Decided to go with the cragar soft 8's not original but same general look and about $100 less/wheel. I'll post some pics in about a week. Also found some good/nice lookin skins, falken rocky mountain. Specs put tires stickin out 1/4 -1/2" like yours, do you have any probs as far as rocks being thrown out around rocker or bottom of doors?

I haven't noticed any rocks or anything hitting the rockers but I have side steps which would block at least some of that. I have noticed in the rain that water gets thrown up pretty good. It is something I might have to be careful of sice I have the skyslider. I might get a shower if the roads are wet after a rain storm. :D
