This weekend I went up to Vermont for a work event. Took my friends kia sorento for better gas mileage, and told my other buddy if he needed to use my jeep he could. Well the idiot and some trouble parking the beast and banged up the tail light. it was jammed into the tailgate so you could not open tailgate, but i fixed it to normal now. but my question is; what part is needed?

That sucks :banghead: I'm not sure of the part number. How'd he manage to mess up the tail light but do no damage to the bumper?? :?

Well from this angle it only looks like you need a tail light.

You need their insurance policy number so you can make a claim.

I would just have to unplug the existing light then install the new one correct?

Yes, couple of torx bits, then it will "pop" out of the stud holders, and the new one plugs in.

Sorry to that happened to you. I never let anyone drive mine unless I am feeling too tired to continue driving on a trip, but then I am with the vehicle. Being mine is a CRD I am very scared to lend it out for fear they might do me a favor since I was so nice and fill it with GAS for me.
