Try Stockton Wheels they used to have some like those. I've been thinking of tossing my Moabs for something like those, in gunmetal gray

Been trying to get an estimate for some from them for a month now??

Just noticed that been added recently trying to find out what happened
I have ordered wheels from them before and they were great to deal with, any backspacing etc. First ordered from them 20 years ago I guess for wheels for my 32 Ford
Too bad if its for good.

I do like the utilitarian look of both wheels pictured in this thread (the XJ, and KK). Any other source to purchase these types of wheels?

That is a KK I would drive. It would take alot for me to put up with the stock seats in those things. If I were to put aftermarket wheels on my KJ I'd do something like the ones on there.

Word on the "Web" is that the owner of Stockton Wheel committed suicide a couple of days before the shop closed.

Some other companies I found producing somewhat similar wheels
www.RallyAmerica.com
www.wheelsmith.com
www.wheelvintiques.com
www.earlywheel.com

I heard about this company from expedition portal.

http://www.earlywheel.com/smoothcenter.html

I've had my eyes set on those wheels for awhile.

I wish they did a better job showing pictures of their wheels. Keep me posted if you decide to investigate further. I'd make a purchase today if I knew they could get me a 15X7 wheel with a 4.5-5.00 backspacing that looks similar to the wheel in the Safari Overland pic. I'd like to build my XJ with a military/utilitarian look.

I know, I think the KJ CRD would get sold if the KK was offered with one.

I prefer the KJ look over the KK. I love the spare tire on the back and the round headlights MUCh better. Just wish diesels werent rare in the US.

MtnLuvr wrote:
Uh, been doin' that since fall 2008 since I decided to purchase a KK. Been contacting a lot of companies that made aftermarket products for the KJ about getting products for the KK and the responses (from all the various companies) consisted of one of 4 reply classifications:
    1. No reply.
    2. Saying they didn't sell enough of KJ products to make anything for KK.
    3. Saying "wait and see...."
    4. Unfulfilled promises that never came to fruition.

That's why I've been forced to take matters into my own hands.

Sad reality of not owning a cherokee (pre 2002 for the rest of the world) or wrangler Jeep.

Tom, you’re on the money. According to JP magazine, those are 16X8 Stockton wheels.

I like the KJ look more than the KK but thats not so bad. I would prefer a few changes, like ditch the zebra theme, it sure is too Ken & Ken painted like that, even for me. OMG what were they thinking?
The wheels are ok but I would rather have some Cragar soft 8's or the ones from the J8. Add an ARB bull bar bumper made for that and wow I might buy it. of course it needs to be the diesel too.
