Well i guess after all the splashing and mud at rausch my horn somehow got effed up. It sounds completely different and is maybe half the volume, temporary until it dries out or will this be permanent? and is there a way to fix it? thanks :dizzy:

Reading up on other offroad forums for different vehicles. Let it dry out and all should return to normal.

I usually replace the stock horn with air horns of some sort.
Haven't gotten around to it on the KJ yet..............................YET.

Hopefully it will dry out.
If you have an air compressor, blow some air in there.
If it was muddy water, it might dry and get compacted, happened to me.. never able to fix it.

I think my horn always sounds wimpy.... it's more like "beep, beep excuse me? beep.. beep" when I want it to be more like "BEEP BEEP MOVE IT OR LOOSE IT NOW!!"

CRD horns are mounted low in front of the drivers side wheel. Gassers have their horn mounted in the engine compartment in front of the drivers side wheel well.

My horn sounds wimpy from all the dunkings and trail damage its gotten. I've thought about relocating, but have also looked at air horns. Still procrastinating. :ALONE:

The same thing happen to me. After a while, the problem cleared up. I plan on buying and installing an Oogah horn.
