It is a Beautiful weld isn't it lol, but it's still there after 6 months or so of hell. I know there is a lot of experience here but you just keep shooting down everyones ideas on anything lift related because it's not what you have.

I would have to disagree, Tom shoots ideas down because he is speaking from much expirence. I thought I knew 4wd stuff and modding it untill I met Tom and I have been a mechanic for over 20 years. Some just don't want to listen is all.

I listened too a lot of stuff Tomm has said and some of it has helped me along my way. I thought about doing what this guy wants to do and it can be done sure it's way more work than he thinks it is and saving his money to do a SAS would make more sense but he wants to do it so lets see what he comes up with instead of scaring him off.

Dont worry, your not gunna scare me :P i was probably guna try it either way. Im just looking for some feedback and helpfull hints. I just want it bigger im not sure if i want to sas it yet or not but that would be after its paid off (not for 5 years :( ) so im looking fo something semipractical/cost effective. I will probably end up mixing and matching quite afew lift kits by the end. But ill be sure to take lots of pictures.

And dont feel bad RED i had a shock mount welded way worse back when i was in HS and it held up too. And most of it is the welder too my old lincoln 90A worked on exhaust and thats about it. I just picked up a handler 187 and it is 100000x better.

hahahaha Mines not paid off for another year and a half, It's honestly more practical to do a SAS than to do what you have planned. If you are going too keep it anyways may as well only spend the money once.

If i do this it will probably stay this way. For the amount of wheeling i actually do this will serve the purpose. And i also saw this morning that jba offers a 2in cradle drop that is just spacers and a bolt kit and the knuckle extender so maybe i will make someting along those lines but tie everything together. We shall see.
