06 jeep liberty keeps lockin itself over and over

My 06 jeep liberty keeps locking itself over and over when i dont have it started. This problem just started happing today. It doesnt do it when its on but after i turn it off and wait about 5 mins it starts locking the doors and it will keep doing that every min. And it wont allow me to lock it using the power door locks, it will allow me to unlock it tho. Does anybody have an idea of what could be causing this problem.

My 07 did that when I had all the doors and back gate open and I started it to straighten the wheels it kept locking the doors until I took it for a ride. I guess it wanted to go for a ride.

yes i have 05 and it just did the same thing, had to pull the fuse to stop it. yes also locked the keys in it. lucky it was in the driveway. any help would be great. would it be the BCM, bad ground, short wire, bad switch.

It hasn't happened to my KJ but did on my buddys Cherokee. It was a combo of his BCM and a shorted/defective battery.

My 06 did this a few months back.. Lasted about a week, then went away.. I also found that if I turned the radio off, the doors would lock. Weird!
I attributed it to the damp weather we we were having at the time.
