Clear Corners & Window Tint & New License Plates

Today I got my clear turn signals in the mail :BANANA:

I know its not a big change but I'm taking it one small step at a time. Window tint tomorrow. Left the white bulbs in it because they look sweet. License plates ( see later posts )

I like the clear turn signal covers, it looks real nice. How ever to be DOT compliant, if your woriied about it, you must have amber or yellow front turn signals. Some police will ticket for clear or white bulbs in a clear lens set up, just something to think about.

I like the small new mod. Little mods like that can really make a vehicle stand out. I tinted my brake lights, 3rd brake light and indicators; so basically my whole jeep is blacked out. People have a tendancy not to see me at night, which gives me another reason to paint my KJ lime green. Yes, I want to paint my KJ lime green and have black cragars to go with it. cannot forget the meaty tires (bfg km2s :juggle:

actually to be completely DOT compliant you have to leave the stock lenses in as DOT requires an amber Retro-reflector at the front corner of the vehicle.

I guess DOT is not going to be real happy with me then. Oh well, I'm not too worried about it. They won't like my window tint either. I'm not going to do clear brake lights, I dislike them if they're aftermarket. I may do black brake light covers but I'm not sure yet.

I got my windows tinted to match the back. From what I understand they're 20% at the factory and that's dark enough for me so I got the front doors to match. I did want 5% but wasnt willing to pay for 5 more windows just for 15% darker. I think it looks pretty good.

Here are the license plates that I just got in the mail. Waka Flocka Flame :mrgreen:

Had to explain to clerk at the BMV that it wasn't a gang affiliation. :ROTFL:

I bought the clear corners on eBay. I will never buy anything for a car on ebay...besides lenses for turn signals.
