CB mount locations???

Hey just wondering where everyone is mounting their CBs. I want mine in a place that is easy to get to without hitting my knees. I have a 5speed so and my cb wont fit in the console..any suggestions?

I have mine mounted to the side of the console on the passenger side, facing the driver. It's not a permenant mount, yet, so I don't have any photos

will it fit in the center console at all? out of sight to potential thieves as well. .Just a thought.

Depending on size, some people have placed CBs in the center console or in the well in front of the shifter. A popular location for those installing the Cobra WS-75SX CB is the recess on the passenger side of the dash, where the fuses would be on the British/European KJs (looks just like the fuse box recess on the drivers side). Then they route the mic out to the center console area and it has all the controls on it.

thanks all I was thinking of putting mine up there but i dont like the idea of everyone seeing it. but then again there is the antenna. I have ran it inbetween the seat and the console but it keeps sliding out and falling in the floor. It wont fit in the console too big. anyhow I guess i will just have to mout it to the top. Thank you all for your responses.

I'm sure being a month late you've already mounted your CB but I thought I'd share one other location. I mounted mine behind the console it does cover the rear window buttons but I think thats is a bonus not a problem. I can share the details if you'd like.
