Cool man, Lets see some pics of that odometer reading 300k and updates pics with the 33's. Old photos of when you tore it up isn't going to work. Pics of what you did in the fender wells would be super duper as well.

Its not just here, its on all vehicle forums. I remember coming up with ideas on another forum and getting a several page thread of responses of anything from being dumb to retarded to attacks on my sexuality. Its the nature of forums sadly.

for now I'm just happy that she is back to normal I just had a new longer stronger rear driveshaft fabbed up with a nice spicer joint in the rear. And she rides as quiet is kept! I was scared she wouldn't make it through the LBJ failure. I honestly thought I was gonna die. But here I am and there she is... Somehow stronger than before... Gettin beefed up for the long haul.

Pics of the odometer are Gonna have to be taken after I get everything squared away. I put a new gauge cluster in my TRUCK(not car) jk jk... And it has to be flashed by the dealer to report my actual mileage. Right now she only has 052746 lol I had more than quadruple that 5 years ago! I did keep my old gauge cluster though and if I'm up to it... Maybe I'll take the dash off and pop it in for a pic

I have a tendency to call my jeep a "car" every once in awhile, its not that big of a deal, its a freakin vehicle...

joe... I love the look of your jeep and what youve done, ive wanted to put 33's on ever since I put my 31's on, but its going to be sometime before I can get there! Cant wait to see more pics!

I heard some of the same things when I put my 33's on. You can check the fab threads for my wheelwell mods. You should've heard some of the negatives when I started the engine swap! :ROTFL:

Some are simply trying to make sure that you know what you are getting in to, but others are just so used to doing things the same way they can't see anything else. PUSH THE ENVELOPE!!!! There are still plenty of things that CAN be done that HAVEN'T been done yet! :jester:

We just recently saw one of the first leaf sprung SFA KJs and it was said by a few that THAT wasn't worth the time and effort! PM me if you need any more info on the wheelwells.

But don't call it a car again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mrgreen:

Oh man what I would give for a set of those flares... Awesome work dude! As for that engine swap... I have to say that I love your level of insanity and wish that I was closer to Ohio... To lend a helping hand! I've been thinking about the 4.7 v8 but I'm at a moot point right now and between jobs... So that stuff has to wait...

I am looking to put 33s on my CAR :-)r

but also going for the 6inch lift, I have the rack father 11 lift at mo but springs in rear to soft, and with all the metal being added it will not so high at rear after steel bumper. Here in New Zealand most 4x4s run 35s or bigger so I end up bellied out, just about to have my lockers fitted at last :BANANA:

which will help loads. So klet me know how you got on with the 33s. running 31,10,50,15 at mo, and need more height.

As far as installing 33s I have more than enough height to do it
BUT
I also know there is no way in "H" I ever will due to a couple of facts
First even with 4.10s and the 32s its not as peppy and enough power as I would like it to be

So what to do but swap to a JBA steel diff and spend 3000 grand for it, with a DTT, 4.56s ( at least) and then another 400-500 for the rear so 3500, not worth that 1/2 inch of height IMO or to say I have 33s
Running 33s and 3.73s its going to be a huge dog!
For the money it will go SFA before I go larger tires :wink:

AND No I am not against people trying new things on theirs like some would like to make it out. Trust me I've tried more suspension mods than most on here to get more height, but common sense comes into play and I like to have mine that I can jump in it any hour of the day or night and take off on a 1000 mile journey if I need to, and it be drivable.

I think the primary issue would be flexing and ripping things off.
