Can anyone here tell me what kind of mileage drop they experienced after installing BFG A/T's on their KJ? I'm looking to get some 235/70's and I'll have to get the Q range tires (99mph vs 112mph....like it matters). Anyways, I think that's probably a heavier duty, and thus heavier, tire.

i dont see a 235/70 BFG AT listed any where
i would go 225/75 C load range just a little taller
thats about as close to stock as they come
the 245/70 is alittle wider and a little taller
and withthese you may see a differance??

I added the 245/70R16 AT/KO's, and I haven't noticed any negative MPG yet. By the way, that would be the size I would recommend without a lift, they are a perfect fit.

If anything moving up to a higher quality tire like the BFG's will improve your gas mileage compared to the inferior Goodyear tires that come with the Libby.

Although I highly recommend the 245/70r16 size for the noticeable added stability that the size offers the 235/70r16 is still a very good choice if available.
