I am getting ready to install a Blue Ox Tow Bar Bracket on our 2011 KK. I have read the direction on line a number of times, but was wondering if anyone here may have gone through this process and has any pointers to hand out before I jump in and start removing the front bumper fascia and start drilling holes.
Thanks in advance,
JVJ

Mines an '04 and it was a pretty basic install if you follow the directions. Don't remember having to drill any holes, however the 11's might be different.

Well if you have not done the job yet, here is my experience with a 2008 Liberty.

I sure appreciate you taking the time to reply. I have read the directions to both the Blue Ox and the Roadmaster installation guide.
You are correct in that by reading both the job makes a little more sense. Add in your photos and even more questions get answered. But, WOW!!! and 8 hour install, yet the directions say only 3. You gave me hope, I was figuring maybe two days to complete. Of course I have learned that at times it is better to walk away and come back after some reflections time...LOL.
Our 2011 has the front tow hooks and suspension skid plate that I will have to remove and not reuse. Also on the Blue OX you have to do some trim work on the lower front valence.
Not looking forward to doing this out in the garage given the heat wave we are going through.
Where in Texas are you located?
