Recently purchased an 06 Liberty 4x4 CRD.
The previous owner had lifted it 2.5" by his memory. However he can't remember which one was installed ( he didn't do it himself).
I need to replace some shocks/struts and not sure which I should or can use.
I also need to figure out if he put a heavy duty set up front so they don't keep failing.

I can't find a name on anything with it together on the vehicle. All the coil springs are powder coated red. The front struts appear kinda silver/gold metallic color. The rear shocks are white with red boots.
Here's a pic of the front.

Any wild chance someone can recognize what these are?

Normally I'd guess skyjacker based on colors, but seems they used black springs in their KJ lift kits, so I am not sure.

Skyjacker based on the Inverted Strut, It's one of there better kits too (There original Libby kits had Heavier than stock spring rates) based on the fact that the spring is Red.

Thats what I would say it is as well, one of the earlier kits maybe?? They were rated at 425 lbs. for the fronts
You can only use Skyjacker shocks due to the way its made without some mods.

Yes
only those now are rated at 310 lbs same as stock
Guess I never look at them as they are not even a good alternative anymore

They don't list them for the KJ on Skyjacker site...Al's got old stock? It's not worth the time you loose searching spare parts, better get rid of them and upgrade like Tom already suggest you but since they use special inverted struts the top plate may need to be replaced as well so you start with a empty plate I guess?...$$$ Wish you can keep them and save a $150 expense.

The "good" Skyjackers were only made for a very few months back in late 02-early 03 ( Troy would know for sure he had one of theirs)
So no really doubt Marlin has the old stock since him or even Al ( original JeepinbyAl) was even dealing in lifts then

Class dismissed! :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL:  (Kidding Tom)

In conclusion : keep your top plate and front ISO if possible and get new coil and struts from OME/ Rancho/Bilstein/Whateversuitsyourneeds
Best bang for the buck anyway...

Thanks everyone.
Looks like I need to spend some money.
That's what a project vehicle is for isn't it?

Yep thats why you buy one!!
If it was me I'd replace springs and shocks, of course you'll need the top plate from another KJ
