Standalone diesel engine management:

http://www.twinkam.co.uk/shop/page/8?shop_param=

This opens up many possibilities for diesel engine swaps in the future(not specifically talking about our engines).

What are you using? This is the first standalone I have come across that was capable of supporting diesel engines.

Now when enough Sprinters get wrecked or rusted out, the engine can be placed into a GC,
with the right adapter plate.

Well, the OM647 was originally equipped in the WJs, so I'm not sure fabricating new parts makes sense over obtaining off the shelf OEM parts to convert one......

Yup exactly, your WJ gauge cluster will work with the KJ PCI bus just fine. Thats the same reason I need to use a PCI gauge cluster from a TJ in my MJ/XJ CRD swaps.

No more work in the past month or so, all sorts of other things going on right now so I am not sure when the dust will settle and I can get back to it.

If you really want a diesel WJ I would seriously look at importing a engine/wiring harness from the UK for that purpose, would make things much easier.
