I have a BDS 2" lift sitting in my family room for an 04' and will be installing it in a couple of weeks when I can get the use of a motor head buddies garage that has far more space for doing the install than my own.

As far as why I went with BDS (Big Richard Suspensions) one of the fire fighters I work with owns his own 4x4 company, and for putting it in a couple of shows he offered it to me at cost to show how much can be done with a Liberty so that he can sell more kits. Plus it has a no small print warranty. If any component fails BDS will replace it no questions.

Any way I have looked hard at wheel spacers and back spacing as options to get bigger tires on it. I have decided that I like my stock spoke style alloy wheels, and will go with spacers. I'm in the process of cutting the plastic and hammering the weld under the front fenders, and will be covering them back up with rhino liner or caulk and plastic with smooth head screws to prevent rust in that area since we use salt on the roads during the winter.

Does any one have a 2" lift that can tell me what they are running on their's with 1.25"or 1.5" spacers?

Right from BDS website:

Maximum Tire Size 30" x 9.50"

I appreciate your response. I did get the same info from BDS.

However, I do not think that I may have asked my question correctly. I'm asking for specific brand and size of tire. Because, in all my years of 4x4'in no two brands match the specifed tire size stated due to tread and side wall design.

I hope that clarifes my error.

Are you getting new struts to go with the lift? I was/am still thinking of getting this lift and was just wondering?

Thanks

I think they're being a bit conservative with the tire size. That is almost the same size I'm running (245/70r16) stock with no rubbing, and mine is a lowered '02.

I'd say you can get away with a 245/75r16 with little to no rubbing. I'd recommend the Yoko Geolandar AT+II (tough to beat for the price).

That should be about a 30.8 x 9.8. Good luck with the lift.

Hi...I have the BDS lift and I am not running spacers. I have Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels with BFG A/T 235/70/R16
tires. I still have some rubbing at the fog lamp door but it's not much.

Hope this helps,
