Just wanted to follow up. Last weekend I did the pinch weld as well as bumped the clevis up 1/4" (would have gone higher but couldn't get the shocks to move any further. I also spent the day underneath with black paint getting it ready for salt season( had already claybared the topside and waxed with Turtlewax ICE the previous weekend). The money I was waiting on still hasn't come so I had to replace the tires yesterday. I shopped around several of the local shops and priced the Silent Armor ($1244 installed)

, Dest AT, KL-61 and the went in Pep-Boy's looking for the Hankook ATM RF10's. The guy at the counter said he couldn't get them in 235/65-17 so I asked about the Ipike rw11 snow tires, he said couldn't get them either. I said really, because you have a set stacked on the showroom floor. He thought I had misread the lable because they didn't carry that size and weren't in the computer but if they had them he would get me a price ($88.00 a tire, $534 installed) with a buy 3 get one free rebate so I get 88.00 back. I needed two TPMS sensors which I knew about (stupid aluminum doesn't play well with salt) so the total came to $663. I think he just grabbed the price out of the air because every price I have seen online has been around $175ea in this size. So after rebate I got 4 tires and two TPMS Sensors for $575.
The Ipike is a dedicated snow tire but it is not one of the super soft ice tires, it looks like a directional version of the RF10 with more sipes. Hankook lists it as an all season off-road/studdable winter tire. It also has the snowflake rating. They are very quiet so far and look good on the Jeep.
