Newbie prepared for hatred...

Just bought a new liberty, lowballed it and didn’t get fog lights. Figured they could be easily added on.

Obviously thought wrong…

I want blacked out headlights… I’ve seen the instructions to paint them and I’m worried about water-tightness…

I know the mopar fog light kit comes with new assemblies, but I would lose my auto headlight function…

Unless I buy the separate multi-function stalk…

Any way to buy a Renegade fog light kit instead of the standard???

That would help me sleep at night… Thanks.

Wait we would lose our auto lights? Why is that?(probably stupid question lol)

Anyways I'm only concerned cause I didn't get fogs either. I was planning on getting headlights with the fogs in them and just hard wire the fogs to an aux switch, unless the kit with the stalk works for 2011s. I didn't know that I would lose my auto lights.

Yes that is cheaper than what I found on mopar's site, so thanks for the link.

Was hoping to find a combo kit so I didn't have to waste the ones that come with the fog light kit.

And the fog light kit comes with a stalk that doesn't have an auto notch.. so you would have to also purchase this multi-function stalk.

So as long as I just swapped headlights and not the whole stalk with it, I will keep my auto lights. Correct? And that says it is for 08 and 09. Would it work on my 2011?

The current stalk you have doesn't have a fog light position... or at least it shouldn't...

So unless I change the stalk I'll keep my auto lights. I wouldn't bother putting on the stalk with the kit without auto lights. I could always hard wire the fogs.
