I'm one of those guys with a ghetto home made rack but I agree with Clint. In most cases, it really is true; you get what you pay for. The All J folks don't mess around and you can be pretty sure that whatever they put out is high quality (that's the beauty of small business!!!). If I wasn't a poor college student I'd probably go with the metal rack too.

All-J makes the Cadilac of cargo racks, but if you're looking for the Geo Metro of cargo racks, there is this option:

You definitely get what you pay for in this case, but it may be a viable option for some. Personally, I'd spring for the All-J rack if I hadn't already won it as a raffle prize at Big Bear '05. :D

Hi all, check out the KJ Interior Rack page on our web site for a link to install directions -- the link is to a Word document. Sorry I didn't make it a PDF yet.

http://www.boulderbars.com/kj_interior_rack.htm

Anyway....you can see exactly how it is installed before you buy it.

Thanks!
Heather :D

I just got my rack today. wooohoooo. I will be putting it in tommorrow. Very nice quality. Ups did a bad job shipping it though, there are a couple of good size scratches. nothing a sticker can't fix. There was no All J sticker on it to show which way faced back like the directions said but I don't think it really matters. I can't wait to get that bad boy in.

I got the rack in this morning , not a big deal to install. It fits great. It had a big scratch from UPS, but that was nothing a Trail Rated badge couldn't fix.I would highly recommend this rack.

I just took care of the rattles and resonation from my stereo. I used Dynamat on most of the rack and made a carpeted shelf.

Looks good! Isn't it nice to have all kinds of stuff back there but still be able to use the space? :D
