To Begin, if this is posted in the wrong section I apoligise, it was not my intention I just did not know where to post this matter as described below.

I am a huge Jeep fan, I have read many post by many brilliant people on this forum. The knowledge some people have on the Liberty is remarkable. The helpful advice, tips tricks and even phisical labor.....a true blessing for the Jeep Illiterate. I am very pleased to be part of the L.O.S.T. world. It is just like a family in so many ways, great laughs, funny comments, helpful advice, and some minor disputes.

Now on to the reason I posted.

I want to fan out and get involved in some Meet and Greets, do some wheeling with other Liberty Owners, cook outs, and wrenchfest. Problem being that I am in N.E. Arkansas.
Arkansas is not mentioned in any of the L.O.S.T. areas. I don't mind but was wondering which state will have M&G, GTG, and Wrenchfest close enough for me to drive to and willing to accept an Arkansas Jeep Fan (I am not imbred).

I know the feeling, come up to NE Pennsylvania and we can have an AK-PA wrench fest!

I'd say your best bet is to watch surrounding states... however, nothing happens that's typically in 'your area.' :( Maybe watch for either the KS/MO guys to do some sort of outing... or KY/TN. Those will probably be the closest to you.

You're more than welcome to the IL clan, but that's quite a bit of a haul for you to get here, and even more so if you opted to cruise on up to Ohio. It's pretty hit-or-miss unless you live in an area with a higher concentration of LOST members.

Good luck!

It's not impossible for me to head up north, its just not something I could do more than 2-3 times a year. I would love to come wheel with you and soak up some knoledge and I would give up a Caribbean cruise to hang out at Mudd's garage for a day, I was just looking for something more practical to do more often, without driving 10+ hours.

I plan on Northern adveture in the future but a more local run would be nice.

It's sad there is none here in Arkansas, we have the Superlift Park, Bricks Yard Pit, and Jacksonville has a dried river bed. Six hours from here is Disney Oklahoma (ROCK CRAWLER HEAVEN), miles of the most beatiful rock I have ever seen and home of the legendary Waterfall and Little Blue.

You are welcome to join us. We go to Kansas rocks 2 or 3 times a year but that is still a 6 hour drive for you. The park is right on the Missouri line. We have gone down to SMORR a couple of years ago and that would be around three hours for you. And there is one more park, Flat nasty's I think that's what it's called. That should only be a couple of hours from you about 6 1/2 7 hours for me. Maybe I can get a few of us to go down there this spring/summer.

Kansas Rocks is perfect, very capable 0f 6-7 hour drive.
SMORR is even better, I have been there twice.
