Other than it being a Chrysler... No. They won't even be able to look at it until Monday. I'm confused because those are highway gears, not pulling or offroad gears. They shouldn't see much load.

Fortunately the amber check engine light came on only a few blocks from the dealership, but in the time it took to drive there I could smell cooking atf, it started shifting hard and the rpm started skipping.

I normally live forty miles from the dealership, and offroad hundreds of miles from any kind of shop, so I'll count my blessings for that.

Installed this on my wife's KK. We use hers for doing grocery shopping a lot (insert "Got Groceries?" sticker here). More cargo room than the KJ. Instructions were missing, so took a little bit of reverse engineering to figure it out. Didn't feel like driving back 20 miles to Pep Boys. Local pep boys didn't have any in stock.

Washed it yesterday too, was completely covered in salt from the ice we had last week.

Had to replace a brake light recently, so i just replaced both of them. Also added a weathertech rear cargo liner. I know, very interesting stuff, lol.

New wipers, air filter, and picked up a jug of synthetic and filter. Hopefully can get time to put lift in!

Here they are: Image

And:Image

Not the meanest tires on the planet, but I put GY MTRs on a KK before on different rims, reeked havoc with Traction system, these are Pmetric tires and ride real nice. The guys at Firestone on Nevada in the Springs were cool, open Sunday, I got lifetime Alignments for a deal and go figure after 660 miles and new tires it needed an adjustement. $$ well spent on the lifetime alignment, now if someone will just by my GY STs on craigslist I'll be golden.

Dang Dirty

As for me, just drove it. Oh and to the cop that had his eyes burnt out by my lights because he was hiding in the trees, I'm not sorry

KK: passenger cv, oil change, greased zerks, coolant flush, recut some of the fender liner

XJ: thermostat and coolant flush, injector upgrade, zerks, fuel leak at pressure regulator, vacuum leak (still havent found it apparently), swapped swaybar discos, tracked down a few creaks and pops that need to be fixed when i come back home in a couple weeks

the passenger seat on the kk hasnt reclined since i bought it. i didnt really care because i never have to sit there and it wasnt in an uncomfortable position anyway. the right side of the seat would unlatch but the left would stick. i tore off the panels on the sides and found that the cable that runs from the right side to the left was not secured so it would just pull up slack when you pulled on the lever. there was a broken rivet im guessing. i replaced it with a small nut and bolt and it works like a champ.

i let all of the air out of my full sized (265/75/16) spare and with some persuasion and some a lot of squeaking i got it to fit in the spare tire location. lucky for me i have on board air if i need the spare.
