Anyone find these very tight to turn in?
I can't hand turn it in.

The block hasn't been re-tapped; the Fumoto is too close a fit.
I could probably wrench it in but I wanted to check here first.

Either than taking some steel wool to the new threads, is there anyway to clean this up?
No way will I be able to find a tap/die for 3/8 British pipe, straight, 19 threads per inch.

Okay, it is in.

I used 3000 grit sandpaper on the Fumoto valve and removed some of the rough machining.
I hand sanded it for 5 minutes.

I put mine in a few weeks ago. It was difficult to start but went in without issue. I think I used a 17mm deep socket on it. Obviously not too tight. Did you use the washer that came with it?
