What do the new ones look like, the same? Did you do anything to seal the new ones? From your earlier pictures, most of your other components look OK.

The new (used) ones look good I didn't do anything to treat them since I am in Colorado now and don't see it being a problem anymore. if in the future we move to a salt state or anywhere near the ocean I will probably re look at it. It would be difficult to treat a used set effectively though. If I got a new set I would blow a can of under coating into them or something similar. I really went over everything on the undercarriage and every other component and all the unibody looks awesome these were the only exception. FWIW I found the used set locally on Car-part dot com for $35 each arm.
