Question-Compatibility (2002 sport with 2006 diesal)

I recently blew the motor on my 2002 sport and unfortunately it will cost $4000 minimum to get it back and running. I'm looking at a 2006 diesal and wondering if I keep the sport as a parts vehicle which parts would be compatibile with the diesel??
Anyone done this?

Very few parts could be used I think....there are major differences between a 2002 gasser and a 2006 CRD.

I will let the experts give you more precise details.
