Well, just one...When I stopped after work tonight to get some gas, and a six pack an officer walked over to me in the store (they are there all the time) and asked "Is your truck lifted?" At first I thought "This guy is a new traffic cop and he's gonna find some reason to hassle me about having a lifted vehicle.." Turns out he was just diggin' my ride and had lots of questions about lifting a vehicle in general... To top it all, as I was gassing up the guy said "Well man, I better get back in here. By the way, my name is KJ."
It didn't even dawn on me at the time; the cop askin' about my KJ was named KJ!!!!

That is pretty sweet!! I wish the cops around here were more like that. They would rather run us off from hanging out in a parking lot somewhere when all we're doing is standing around talking about Jeeps or cars or just whatever.

I had to put mud flaps on mine because some dipshit rookie kept pulling me over for not having any... CO doesn't require them... But dipshit was a supply troop in the Army assigned in Fort Lewis and knows WA does require them (even though no WA LE would pull anyone over for it) and since jeep has WA plates he keeps hassling me. Same cop pulled me over tonight, so I got his badge number and reported me for harrassment as my jeep has flaps that exceed both WA and CO laws. The duty Sergeant said I was not the first complaint from a Military member in a Jeep... Sounds like Senior Douche bag has Jeep envy and is mad at the Military....
I told him I was going to report him, and he was dumbfounded...morons everywhere... especially when I told him I was a cop... Someone picked on him, so he felt it was his turn...

If duty Sergeant wasn't blowing smoke ( I doubt it, I know him) rookie is going to be off the road for a while... Springs PD don't put up with crap. :goink:
