assuming level ground and very very very moderate acceleration?

I very rarely take my KK on the highway, mostly city driving...I thought it was shifting into 4th at 40+mph but apparently it was 3rd gear, because I hopped don the freeway last nite and noticed at about 55mph it was only at about 1500rpm's.

thanks.

I can usually get mine to shift into 4th at around 45 mph if I back off on the accelerator at that point. If I'm remembering right, rpms will be around 1200 at 45mph in 4th gear, which is about as low as it will go. 4th is the overdrive in our KK's.

I stand corrected :banghead:

But you're right, it was probably in overdrive at 55. Sorry, didn't mean for that to be a dig.

Speaking on the same matter of fourth gear its almost like OD acts as a fifth gear. I try to pay attention but it seems like at 45 it shifts to fourth but the RPMs are still kinda high (2000) but if i push it a little more to 50 I can get it down to 1500-1600. Kinda annoying cuz I have to push the Lib to 50 when I usually cruise around town at 45. Maybe if Hypertech could come up with shift point changes or just eventually throw a 5spd in.
