Hi guys, I need your help.

I have a problem with my driver's seat in my 2010 Limited. The seat is at the farthest position and no longer wants to move forward. When I activate the switch I hear the electric motor run, I even see it tilts, but the screws in the sliders does not move.

Someone once had a similar problem? Obviously the dealer is not selling this motor alone. It requires changing the entire base with the three electric motors ... $1200 CDN. :ROTFL:

Also, is it possible to change the base of my electric seat by a manual one? I do not even know if the 08+ liby come with a manual seat.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I called 4 used auto parts sellers this morning, none of them had it in stock.
The last one even checked in his database and told me that no one had this in stock right now in my area.

I'll remove the seat Saturday. This might be the mechanism of the screw that is stuck.

I do no thave it, but there was a TSB out for seat issues.

My 2008 just had the seat lubed up becuase of it, it did not fix the issue..

But it might be worth asking the dealer to look at again over the phone.
It would be better to get free work...

I don't know id it's possible or not, but I can tell you that there is a manual seat. I have one in my 08. All it does is slide forward and back, no other ways to adjust it.

Problem solved!

I removed the seat and the rail, I found 10 cents in the rail blocking the mechanism. :furious:

Works perfectly now. :SOMBRERO:
