Now i say baja.. but i really don't mean baja, i mean more of taking a trail at 30-40 and it's fairly smooth with some bumps and dips here and there. I've done it a few times.. but i wanna make sure i'n not causing any major major damage by doing this :ROTFL: . very very rarely have i bottomed out the front doing this, maybe ones or twice in some rough woops that i couldnt slow down fast enough for, but the rear bottoms out slightly more often, maybe 4 or 5 times, still not very often. I'm trying to figure out if the faster trail runs had anything to do with making my CV's go bad faster, or if thats just the 160k on them and they finally let loose.

so i suppose i'm asking whether or not a franky lifted CRD is okay to go a bit faster on trails with without damaging anything. IE is the suspension compressing at higher speeds worse for it then going slower over bigger obstacles.

I'm thinking my next car should be a ford raptor.

The suspension does not matter, travel does not really matter either.Cushining the impact is key, might want to look into nitro/air bumpstops, known also as jounce shocks.
