So when lifting any IFS, your front track width gets narrower as you go taller. This puts the front narrower than the rear. I am running some spidertrax front and rear and I am debating removing the spacers from the rear. Right now (with just OME 790 coils) my front is about 1 inch narrower than rear, if I remove the rear spacers my REAR would be 2 inches narrower than the front. But if I lift it a little more, the track width differences would be closer to an inch again.

My question is:

Would it be better to be narrower in front or rear?

JBA's upper arms put ym front wheels out a tad further then the backs, all with 4.25 backspaced rims.

Depending on the alignment and were the cams end up you can be as wide or narrower then the rear after lifting. All the older pickups and such had wider front width then the rear.I also kept that same trend as my rear is 2" narrower then the front,1" on each side.

AH, thanks, I didn't think alignment would affect width, but of course it does because the adjustment is on the bottom. Removing the rear spacers WOULD allow larger tires to stuff easier... I'll play with it when the time comes.
