New CRD Owner from Rhode Island.

Hi everyone.

My name is Matt. Just purchased my first diesel since the late 90's in the form of a Jeep Liberty CRD. Diesel Performance Mag had it listed as a good used diesel purchase. I never new they existed until that article. While out looking for diesel trucks, none of them I could afford for daily use nor fuel efficient enough, I stumbled on this 2006 CRD 20 miles from my house with 77K on it. Knowing how rare, I went immediately to check it out, traded in my Dodge Caliber R/T AWD, and now, I have something that I am much happier with, even though I am not picking it up until tomorrow.

I already ordered the ECO Tune and programmer from GDE and can't wait to get that done.

Anyone out there can give me hints on the best oil and filters out there? In my old 7.3, I remembered using Baldwin Filters and I believe Rotella oil. What is good for the CRD?

I am from Tiverton. I use to be a police dispatcher at URI from 2000 to 2005.
