The oily crap is possibly from both ends of the oil return pipe its hard to tell, but there is evidence of oil seaping further up on the turbo itself I think also, hard to explain, and not easy lay underneath, lookin at summut upside down, and being a noob but may be the gasket onto the manifold gone also perhaps ??

I may get the garage up the road to look at it for me (this guy is lovin me since I bought the KJ ££££), but sometimes if you know a good garage that you trust, it just aint worth the messin about yourself and screwin summut up !

Regardless of what you find, take a good look at your turbo oil return line and make sure that it doesn't have any pinholes. I realize that all of your gunk is coming from higher-up, but it's a good idea to check the return line as well. I just had the Turbo die on me, but we also found a pin hole in the oil return line. If you find that you need one, best to start getting the part right away. They are currently on MOPAR backorder. Took me over a month to get a hold of one, when I finally smartened up and just called Keith from GDE. He got me one from VM Motori.
