Hey all. I hope just from the title some of y'all probably remember this truck. My name is Bill. I had contact with some of you after Dad passed in '07 and I still come and search some of his old posts once in a while. The old posts keep him alive for me. Anyway... I just bought the Liberty from Mom today. For those who don't remember or never knew it's a 2003 Sport, red and still running the 265/75/16s. Not much changed with it since Dad passed but I'm gonna try to start adding some of the goodies he mentioned in a post here a long time ago. As far as I know this truck has never seen any wheeling beyond the occassional empty field and that is certainly about to change. I don't have alot of time to spare for the computer so i'll do my best to stay in touch.

Cool deal buying your dads jeep... My condolences to you and your family.. My dad passed away as well in 07 and I think I remember you posting back then. It's good to see you back! There's a ton of help available on these boards for just about anything you want to upgrade, repair, fabricate, etc... And new ideas are always welcome!

Good to have you chime in Tom. I'm out of town this. Weekend but plan on heading out to Adams County next weekend for her maiden voyage. New tires this week before I go out. Does anyone think the 265s will pose a problem on the trail? Should I step down to a 245?

I pretty much remember the setup your Dad had on it, I think I'd go back down to 245-75s Not as many issues then.
Anything you need just give a shout.

Tom

Thanks, that's what I was thinking considering it rubs at full turn on the street. Any compression in the front would only make it worse. I need a good pic for my avatar so it will be a productive outing regardless.
