i dont have a liberty any more.... but if i did i'd kill to have a pair of these.

http://4xguard.com/liberty-2002-2007/4x ... black.html

saw them at the butler jeep fest and looked really heavy duty.. increase ground clearance instead of losing it. wish they stuck out a little more but still look like a really cool product! just thought id share.

That's allot of money for a set of sliders.
For the money the Rock Lizard Super Skink Sliders are hard to beat!

I like the way they hug the rocker to give more clearance. Looks better that way as well. If they can take a nice rock hit it would be worth the extra cost in my opinion.

that's true.. the rock lizard super skinks are built like a brick crap house... but these ones will give probably an extra 3-4 inches of clearance on the sides.

i cant wait to see someone put them to the test. if i still had my KJ i'd have a set coming.

looks like they mount to the pinch weld and to the sheet metal rocker its self. should be pretty solid (depending on metal used for the sliders)

This is not in anyway against JBA.

If you look at the KJ the rockers are not the lowest spot in the middle, the "frame rails" on the KJ sit 2"-3" lower then the rocker panels.Using sliders like the RL's Super Skinks does not reduce any clearance at all in that respect.

i agree.. but a lot of times by putting your tires on the rocks you miss the center and only need that extra clearance by the rockers....

if i went at that straight on i would hit my factory renegade rock rail (on the passenger side)... but with the JBA rails i would clear it no problem.

again nothing against rocklizard.. super skinks are GREAT sliders.. i just like the extra clearance and design of the JBA's

I know of a KJ who can test them out! 8)
I like them a lot, I just wish they didn't mount inside the door jam underneath the door.(but I'm being picky)
If it was a combination of RL's mounting and 4xguards boat side style.... Ppppffffttt forget about it! :JEEPIN:
