A couple budies and I went out for some mud flingin fun and I got good and stuck. Since I noticed a few people doing high-lift extensions and misc questions concerning highlift use on stock libertys, here is my contribution to the matter. :D

Don't you just love stock tires in the mud? Crafty, but why didn't you just use the tow hooks?

Wow, did it hurt the rim? Awsome pics, a locker and some speed would of helped alot there.

the story goes: I was out with a buddy of mine who hasn't gone offroading before. we both took off down the trail which didn't look bad at all. He was first and got bogged down. I tryed getting out of the ruts but had to slow to much and just sank.

We did try to pull her out (with a stock cherokee), but there were too many large stumps around to get on any dry ground and the trail in front was just as muddy. I think the moral of the story is that I need a locker and tires. :D

I didn't notice any damage to the rims either. (tho i havent bent down and checked the inside)

It was a logging sight around Independence which is about 15 miles NW of Duluth.

Only joe and I were driving. My wife took some pics and joe had a passenger as well (who took some pics also).

I have the "Lift Mate" which attatches to the High Lift Jack and hooks in to two openings in the wheel essentially doing what you did only safer! Good job!!!!!!!! More proof Liberties go where they want to! Jack base also comes in handy in mud! Joe
