For all of the folks who don't visit Jeep KJ Country, here are photo's of our annual 4X4 trip.
This is the area we went exploring http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taseko_Lakes

Your's truly!

Ya know you're getting old when you don't even recognize yourself!

The "Throne" with a view!

Beautiful shots of the Alpine.
Only accessible by foot or via dirt/mountain bike, quads, and side by sides as the the road was completely
washed away leaving a seven foot drop where the road once was.

Oops! How'd those get in here?

This hole was deep! Heep's XJ has 8-9" of lift and is on 35's and he had fun going through this hole! So we went around the side in some really slimy mud and goo! The photo doesn't do it justice!

A little bit of trail maintenance in the next few shots.

Next few shots are getting a few Jeeps getting through a two and a half foot deep creek crossing with slippery logs.
I did this in two wheel drive, low (1st. gear) with just the rear air locker turned on!

Now for some scenic shots.

One way to fix a sidewall puncture!

Late blooming alpine flowers. I have no idea what they are, but they are pretty!

While trying to avoid a huge tree on the drivers side Jen got attacked by a branch which tore a hole in the headliner, broke the rear view mirror, and damaged the side window rubber in two places!

We also managed to embed some wood in between the rim and the tire!

Ry and Jen - what a great trip! I'm jealous of your close access to the mountains - flatland Ohio just doesn't cut it!

And you certainly make your Jeep work for its food, eh? No "mall crawling" allowed, right?

Thanks for posting the pics...

Bob

Yup, no mall crawling aloud!
I had one goof all me a poser and our Rig a mall crawler...
My reply was simple, "All this coming from a new Wrangler owner rolling on all season radials?
The only off roading you do is when you pull onto the soft shoulder!"
I had some othe choice words for him but they don't show up on this site!
Im sorry but "Doo Doo" just doesn't cut it!

WOW! Great pics and I checked out the full album too. I want to go check that area out. Very creative solutions to the trail problems.
