Forgot to get a rear pic of the KK with the Mopar reciever I put on last week. But I did go to the beach Sunday, still beautiful and warm water. I did get a nice "rear" pic. ;-) :-D

And I put some new stickers on, maybe I'll remeber to take some pics.

Afraid that someone might try to run their plate and find them or something.

???
I thought it was JUST an answer. In Michigan only LEO can run plates DMV can't for an individual, so I always wonder why people bother.
But It bothers me that people think they can tell others how to spend they're money. Or others that laugh at a line of Jeeps, being easy to mod and there for popular(common). Then want all Liberty's lines to have the same mods.
What's mine I'll do what I want. If you ask about it I explain. But you might not understand. But hey nobody does anyway.

on a separate note, do any of you konw if the TPMS sensor picks up the spare if it's mounted on a spare tire swing gate instead of under the truck?

I'm getting a custom fab for a swing gate tire carrier since the 255/70/18 spare will not fit.

I have a donut no TPMS. But if you have a hitch can you put it in a trailer/cargo hauler and haul it to see if it "reads" it.

Can/will you post more details? Who, where how much? I see you are on VA,I may be interested in one if another could be made. Not soon, but after a lift I want some 255/70/16s.

will post once I get this done.

A friend has a metal fabrication shop near Fort Belvoir/Mount Vernon area. I had ordered a very heavy duty hinge from comp4x4 and the SS latch from Reid supplies and brought those components to him. we worked out a design that would bolt to the existing hitch mount that are already mounted to the frame under the truck. this way I still have full use of the existing hitch.

Only draw back is losing the backup sensors...no big deal I guess.

Love my painted hood and grill. I get lots of great comments. Think it will look even better once I get it lifted with black wheels and bigger rubber. Image

Did you use Plasti Dip or something else for the hood? I've been debating doing this to my black KK.

Hey OG_Toucan now you need to black out your blinkers (turn signals) like mine 8) because with all that black on the front end those shiny chrome blinkers really stand out :D

I actually had a painter friend of mine help me with the hood. It's actual paint. We sanded down the original then shot it with three coats of paint.

JeepMonkey- funny you should say that. I have been kicking that around and after looking at it again I'm thinking I may do that next weekend. :-)

That's a good friend you have. First KK I've seen with the dual lights by the side mirrors. Always reminds me of a cop car.

On that note, I'll also be starting this pretty soon however I am getting a diamond wheel on my dremmel and cutting the seam between the housing and once finished I'll reseal. Heating just didnt work for me (can't use the oven/uneven heating with heat gun wasn't working)

Just as a heads up tinting your turn signals keeps the heat in and will eventually crack the lense
