Fellow LOST friends. I have spent the last 8 yrs enjoying my Jeep. If I could afford to keep two vehicles, I would but I can't. Also, I am in need of a vehicle with good mpg. As of today, Saturday 15 December 2012, my KJ will be gone. I have traded it in for a new car with 38 mpg.

After the last dealer oil change and their review of what was needed to be done for repairs and the mpg needs, I felt it was time to move on.

It has been a great pleasure to have met some of you and for your help in my learning the ropes of off-roading. I think I got a better experience off-roading learning with the challenges of a KJ through all of you than I possibly could have with a Wrangler.

Thanks for the great memories at LOST Moab 2005 & 2006.

I will stop by from time to time and say hi though.

David (Tokyojoe)

Hate to see you go! But when its time to move on its time to go. I think you and I have been on here about the same length of time so you're one of the old timers as well !
Take care and stop in every now and again

Also you have to post up a picture of your new ride, no matter what it is .

Enjoy life.......................

Tokyojoe, I hate to see you trade in your KJ, but I also understand that change is necessary at times. At least I had a chance to see it in person!

I got a fully loaded 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL Cayenne Red with Beige leather interior. It took 3 1/2 months for the dealer to find it. I think Hurricane Sandy altered the delivery to the East Coast and brought it here.
Beige leather is very hard to come by. Seems all dealers are making black interiors the standard these last couple of years, I learned after my exhaustive search.

I get 27/38 mpg and going from the KJ to the Altima, it doesn't even feel like I am driving, it is sooooo comfortable and smooth.

After selling my motorcycle and ending the monthly payment for that and combining the refinance savings per month, the monthly payment for the 3 yr Lease on the Altima is a wash.

I already love the heated steering wheel. Will post pics when I get my pics taken of it.

This pic does not do the interior justice. Wood trim. leather is actually darker.

Comes with all the high tech stuff (rear back-up camera, blind spot warning, lane change warning, remote start, keyless, etc...). The heated steering wheel is really coming in handy already.

I do miss my KJ a little but the smooth riding this thing gives I am excited for the next 3 yrs.
