Blue is one of the worst color for your eye's at night it takes away your night vision red is actually one of the best..When you dim it it's not to bad but every one is different if you like blue try it to see if you like it the whole thing takes about 15-30 mins ( hardest part is removing piller ) I am going to order red and white I will post pictures of how they look

4x4kingx889,

How did you change the EVIC to red? There is a bulb for that?

No the evic is a sealed LED unit maid up of 50 tiny led's you can not change them out ( as far as I can see ) I maid a home maid filter that went in front of the screen changing the color and you can pretty much only get red doing it that way but it dim's it down a bit

So is it just a matter of pulling the bulbs out? The stock green is ok, but I'd like to switch it two a pure white. Or is there some kind of filter built into the cluster & hvac?

Which bulbs did you put in it? I have bought from SuperBrightLED.com before I'm just curious because it doesn't look like you have hotspots at all.

The cluster has zero hot spots the HVAC control's have a little because there are only 2 bulbs but you really can't tell at night

I don't know why you would want to? the color's won't blend very good and as for changes the the color's you would have to buy a multi-color led's and have to wire a separate controller for them alot of work for nothing IMO how many color's can you want?

They look better at night and as you can see I did not do the buttons in the middle of the EVIC I will do those when I do the gear shifter light.

I got the leds for the cluster from here these are them http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/T5-B85D-LED

And for the evic and hvac I got them at superbrightleds.com there the NEOx LED Bulb - High Power Instrument Panel LED bulbs

Is that an aftermarket cluster gauge or is that stock? I've got an '03 and mine is plain white with the green lens so the cluster lights up green. I'm wondering if I put in blue led's if the green will do anything to the color like change it to w/e color green and blue mixed is.

05-07 is different than 02-04. Tach and Speedo are reversed too.

PS - Is there a How-To for replacing the bulbs out there?
