In the 6 years that I have been on this forum, I have never heard of anyone not getting their parts from RL. He has sold hundreds if not thousands of parts to Cherokee and Liberty owners. He wouldn't be in buisness today if he had stole people's money. I've bought parts from RL since 2008 and I've always gotten what I paid for. Rock Lizard Fabrications is not like Wal-Mart where you buy over the counter items manufactured off the assembly line in China. No, his parts are USA hand-made using USA steel.

Still doesn't give him the right to take money from people who were given a specific time frame in which they would be receiving said parts, and then not deliver during that time frame. You, being on the forum for 6 years, should know that this is not the first complaint of this exact nature against Rock Lizard Fabrications. I, for one, will take my money elsewhere.

troy for someone that is close to marty and is on this forum often you would think that you would maybe fill in people on where stuff is at and or help people to get there stuff...... i would love to buy one of his rear bumpers one day but i may just build it myself it would be a lot cheraper that way

I have to say, the few people who have complained on here about timelines still like his products, and people still order from him knowing there is a delay.

WHY? Because he makes great stuff that NO ONE else makes... why bite the hand that feeds? Do people really want to take him to court so NO ONE is tempted to make parts?

When I last talked to him he really liked his new shop and was thinking about expanding his product line. What shop would do that if they didn't have satisfied customers? I for one would/will buy from him again

We made it to Rock Lizard Fabrications yesterday. He had my painted-to-match rear bumper and XJ sliders ready to go. The install went very smooth. Since our KJ didn’t come with the tow package, we also added a Mopar hitch receiver, hence why I decided to go with a light duty bumper. I’ll post pics once we get back home.

There was a sweet lookin’ CRD out front that Marty had been working on. It had a RL front bumper, RL rear HD bumper, RL Gecko rack and RL sliders.

RL had a really cool front bumper that he was working on. It appeared to be a custom bumper. I don’t think it was a redesign, but I could be wrong. He said it was going to be shipped overseas.

I probably shouldn’t go into detail without RL’s permission, but I will say that there is new product development ready to be released. Once orders have been fulfilled, the KK line will be released. Besides the KK, I will only say one word, “Patriot”.

Yep, he's about to expand his shop, about triple the size of his current capacity.

That’s the exact point I’ve been trying to make. I agree that RL might not be everyone’s cut of tea, which is fine, but don’t rain on my parade just because you don’t want to wait for a product. After all, he’s the only person (worldwide) making certain parts for the Liberty. Beggars can’t be choosers.

So he took up those other bays next to him! How cool!

Looking forward to your RED bumper!

Amazing! Did you say Rocklizard Painted it for you? Same paint as you used on the ARB?

RL sends the part(s) to a body shop to have them painted. I just gave him my paint code (PRH - Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat). Yes, everything is factory matching paint.
