I have a 2007 model and I know the warranty for regulators expires soon , problem other than that is when it broke something happened to not allow my door to open, it will unlatch and start to open but not unlatch totally, .....any fixes? ... It is the rear drivers side door, ... I am unable to get panel off due to not being able to open door......lookin for way to open

Are you able to manually raise or lower the window glass by hand?

Window was down a couple inches...I slid it up and taped in place but due to door not opening I'm unable to pop skin off and see why it won't open.. It starts to open but it won't uncatch so I have to push on it and click shut... Just seein if anyone else has had this situation happen

This happened to 1 of my back doors. When the plastic piece broke on the regulator the cable slid over and blocked the door mechanism. It also managed to hit the child safety lock rendering the inside handle useless. It is possible to get the door panel off with the door closed. Its not easy, took me about an hour. Once the door panel was off I could reach in & grab the cable out of the way and open the door. Good luck.

EXACTLY what happened with my 07 also. I just put my shoulder in to it and got it popped open, then pushed the regulator cable out of the way so it was unjammed from the lock. The lift plate let loose which IS covered under a silent recall. I got mine replaced not long ago along with the rear lower control arms, all for free.
