Sorry couldnt think of a real title for this. Looking for some suggestions on how I can feel in those little gaps. I was thinking of getting some sort of rubber grommet but I have no idea where to get that locally or what size and type if I have to order online

Is that fitting from another type of vehicle?
If so try get the correct grommet for that fitting from the correct dealer.

You can try fill it with black silicone sealer but that always looks krappy if you just pump it in. :(

You can mould your own grommet using silicone if need be.
Try find some nice plastic or metal round section (maybe a bottle cap, or the bottom section of the plastic bottle?), smooth on the inside, that will fit over the fitting. This will be your mould.

Then coat the inside of this mould with a thin layer of grease so silicone does not stick to the mould, fill with black automotive silicone, then place this mould over the fitting and tape in place....grease any sections of the bodywork where you do not want silicone to adhere.

Then 24 hours later pull off this mould and hopefully you have a neat smooth black silicone grommet in place.
You can get silicone remover to remove any wayward silicone. :)

This is from a euro spec Audi. There is no manufactured grommet piece for it. That molding idea is actually a pretty neato thought. I may give that a shot. Thanks

Marker lights for trucks and trailers use round grommets for their lights. Use could possibly use one of them trimmed to fit properly or use a weather strip material also trimmed to fit to make it look finished.
