Clevis Spacer 0.375" (TYP)

The 3/8'th should keep you around 3.5" or so is how it was explained to me so that is what I went with.

You're not worried about that issue with your CV thingers?

I'm still new to all of this and trying to learn myself but from what I've looked around and been told it shouldn't be an issue. Probably won't want to go any higher without shaving though.

I think it's one of those where it's getting right at the cusp of being the max height so you run a slight risk but many have been at that height without shaving and had no issues. That is what I took away from it on everything I've read and what a few have told me.

If I am wrong others will probably chime in to tell me to shut up though

At first you couldn't go up past 2.5 inches without custom cv's now you can go 3.5 inches and be ok? What gives people?!?! :dizzy: :furious: :ALONE:  :banghead:

How long they will last is what sets the max lift.Your normal DD and mild off the pavement drives you should have no issues with 3.5" if you have low miles, high miles(100k+) don't expect them to last long.More hard core rock crawling and frequent deep mud(and lack of washing the undercarriage) runs will drastically reduce CV life even at 2.5" of lift.

When I was still IFS I was running 3.75" of lift and did the more techincal wheeling(rock crawling) and the OEM CV's lasted about 60k with about 42k of those being lifted at 3.75".

2.5 inches as tops was back in the beginning
we've pushed the envelope a lot since back then
Every lift I do for folks I try and keep them at 3.5 inches when settled in so no issues
or very seldom from the lift itself

I would recommend you order the Terraflex front bump stops.. Rear just do the Hockey puck method. Asidefrom that everything you need is included. Technically the stops are not NEEDED but for how cheap it is it's worth the security to have.

I dont understand! On one hand JBA sells the MOST expensive lift kits imaginable! I know, I know I dont have to buy it, but it doesnt make sense that he would then sell a lift one inch taller for LESS money than other comparable lifts! If he can do that, why are his other lifts priced for lottery winners?

Simple.....A $5000 Rolex tells time. But so does my $50 Seiko. Which one do you think will last longer and tell time more correctly?

Congrets Tom. Long overdue!! :pepper:  :pepper:  :pepper:
