I ordered the wheel bearing/hub assembly for my 08, and when I went to install them, they didn't fit. Not even close. I never had an option to select "Limited" or "Sport" but I'm assuming I got the Limited ones? The hubs/bearings I tried to put in my hub were quite a bit larger than the existing hole for the bearing. Has anyone run into this before? I ordered my parts from www.rockauto.com

Would be no difference if it was a Limited / Sport

That's kind of what I was thinking but there no way this bearing/hub assby would have fit in the stock KK hub.

They may have just not been paying attention or got two parts messed up. That's happened in my shop a few times. People screw up or something happens and you get the wrong part.

I ordered from www.rockauto.com and even when I verified part numbers after I figured they were bad, they still came up as "will fit" for my liberty. I have no idea what is going on lol

Never trust a parts book to list the correct part, more so from rock auto, advance auto,or autozone. They are filled with errors.

Besides having ABS or not having ABS all the unit bearings are the same no matter what. The only option you should have to make is is what brand(Timkin,SKF,and then the cheap china made stuff) for a KK since all have ABS standard.

Here a side by side of them. The part of the hub that fits into the spindle is wider and deeper, and the space between the bearing/lug stud plate is also wider. Meh.

Also, does anyone know a part number for the axle seals where the axles go into the front diff? Apparently no one lists that....

Figured it out. The hubs I got were actually KJ hubs. I missed it when I ordered it, but the year listed was 2002-2008. Obviously a typo. The Timken bearings on the same site were listed as 2008-2012, and the picture provided for those matches what I needed. So I got KJ hubs instead of KK hubs.

I was wondering if that was the case. A KA owner had the same issue.

I try to be really careful when ordering stuff for the KK since mine is a 2008 as well. I'm sure there are a ton of people that think of a KJ when you tell them 2008. We just have to be extra careful. :JEEPIN:

Exactly!! I'd order for a 2010 or newer, but I'm not 100% on what/if anything is different between the '10 and my 08 lol!

The only main difference between a 10 and a 08 is a few wiring changes, a small change to the ignition system, and minor interior changes....

As far as the hubs go, a KK hub way larger along with the CV axles

Actually, the KK opening on the spindle is smaller than the KJ. The KJ hub wouldn't even fit in the KK spindle at all. Not even close. But, you are right on the KK CV axles being a larger diameter, ONLY on the hub side. The differential (inside) end of both axles are the same size.
