Installed my new Flowmaster Super 44 muffler yesterday took me about an hour and sounds mean :)

I will take some pictures later and post them when I do for all you "no pics, never happened" people :)

I uninstalled and then reinstalled my muffler again today. I took it off because my car was acting like a sub woofer with all the vibrations so my fiancés ear and mine were hurting and gave us both headaches, so on the first time around I installed the muffler in front of the 17" extension piece and on the second go around... well you can see it in the photos but the pressure inside has gone away and also sounds a little bit better too.
Here are the pix after today

And no this is only a temporary end on the second go around because I am waiting until my new rear bumper is installed first (Sunday)

Nope. My '11 has been doing this for a few months. I finally dropped it of at the dealership today, hoping to get this problem fixed. It does it about 90% of the time. Even if I back off and pump slow near the top.

Is it too late to change the order?
8 inch wide wheels is too wide for those tires really
The installer is going to love you when the time comes
Plus fitment when unlifted

Question for Tom since you seem to be the tire expert...I need tires and if by the time I get them I don't have enough for the lift I'm gonna get the silent armors but which size do you think is better 245/70 or 235/75? Both on stock 16s.

How many miles do you have on the KK?

There is a thread with 46 pages about this issue on the KA "Z" site. Mostly 07-08, but recently an 11 as well.
Jeep/Dodge issued a recall for other jeep models with the same tank, wonder why they did not include the KK & KA? Guess no one has died because of it yet...
The only "Fix" is a new fuel tank due to a faulty rollover valve.

Luckily I have free return shipping, but I saw unlifted KK's with 16x8's on them (or maybe not, think I had a brain fart)
May just return the wheels and get OEM wheels then..My buddy works at a tire shop and said we would work it out. Thanks for the heads up though :banghead:

I picked it up this morning :D . I missed it sooo much  . I think I have an abnormal obsession with my jeep. I haven't filled it up yet. So I don't know for sure if it's fixed.

I had just over 30k. It state in the 20k's. They ended up replacing the entire gas tank. The sheet said it was do to a "fuel vent valve failure."

They called it a "fuel vent valve failure", because they don't want to set themselves up for a lawsuit by calling it what it is, a "faulty rollover valve"
Here is a copy of the letter sent to the Wrangler owners, along with the TSB.
It is not a recall as I first thought, but is rather an extended warranty to cover the issue.
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/acms/cs/jaxrs/download/doc/ACM16491465/INOT-PE10032-43711.pdf
If you call nhtsa.dot.gov reference this # and tell them the 08+ Liberty has the exact same issue.
Also don't forget to file a complaint with http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/index.cfm

Been driving around with my foot in it to clear away some cobwebs. And boy oh boy does she sound good when I let her stretch her legs.

And if you research it that was nothing but a marketing ploy
They wanted to be able to say they had 31 inch tires and 8 inch wide wheels to one up other brands

Got an oil change, tire rotation, and general check up from a stealership

Guys in the shop were loving up on the KK, even though there was a beast of a Wrangler two spots down :-)r

Got it inspected, and it passed. All it needed was a license plate light bulb. :D
