..... in a 2012 Liberty ?

I find it obnoxiously loud and want to wrap foam around it.

I know in the KJ the turn signal relay is the red emergency flasher button on the front of the dash :?

If it is so loud then it should be easy to trace its location.

It's been too darn cold out to sit and hunt for it. I'll dig around when it warms up a bit.

Hey I know you.... :D
The turn signal indicator sound is not a mechanical turn signal like in the old days,
In the 08+ KK it is an electromechanical relay on the circuit board of the instrument cluster which produces audible clicks that are used to emulate the sound of a conventional turn signal or hazard warning flasher.
So you will not find it easily, to wrap it, sorry to say.
Same thing with the door ajar chime.
They can not be disabled and the noise maker can not be removed from the cluster without damaging the computer board. Clusters are not cheap and they are computerized. The cluster is involved in the control of many aspects of the rig, including the radio, A/C, turn signals, lights, ignition, mileage, EVIC, and more.

FWIW, The door chime i just "shut" the latch on the door. I can clean the jeep with radio on and door open.

What can I say. :-)r There is a lot of info here on the 4x4 stuff so I am here as well as there. Plus I have two Cherokees...

There is a way to restrict the noise from the electromechanical relay on the circuit board. But it involves dismantling the gauge cluster. Which is not recommended, because if you mess it up your out some major $$$. I have done it to both the clusters I have had in my rig (Dealer had to replace the original because of an A/C issue I was having.), and it still makes noise, but is not nearly as bad.
