I was hoping to get some opinions here. I am not a mechanic or nothing so I am just sort of learning as I go right now.

I just got my lift kit installed. the Y-link extension was not installed correctly which possibly led to some damage to the center ball joint on the control arm.

I was going to order a new control arm from JBA but than I came across this http://jeepinbyal.com/prod-KJ_Tri_Angul ... k-735.aspx

I know it's signfigiantly more money but I'm now starting to think I that if I am going to replace the part I might as well upgrade.

the KJ is my daily driver but I thought I'd get some opinions on the 4 link. I know it'll cause more road noise but I'm not concerned with that. I know some upgrades you only want to do if it's going to be an offroad machine only and is not good to get done if it is a daily drive that will see lots of street use as well. Was not sure if this is one of those things or if it won't hurt.

not sure if it matters but I am currently sitting around 23" on the lift front and back. Aside from that no other mods done.

I don't have the tri-link replacement but others have installed it and most comments are about the increase in noise transmitted to the interior. Lot of money for what may not be that big of an improvement - especially since you're at 23" now and that will settle about 1/2" or so in the coming weeks.

May be better to just replace the link extension...

Bob

Yeah my fronts are already down to 22" but my rear hasn't budged from 23". I actually can't stand the look right now with the back an inch higher.

Anyway, Yeah since I never got a reply I just went and ordered a rpelacement control arm instead of the 4 link. Thank you for the reply though.
