I'm done with my 4x4 swap, and have to do a detailed write-up. What I have not done yet is get the 4wd indicator light on the gauge cluster to work.

Would anyone happen to know what I need to do to make that work?

for an example on this....I installed a roof light bar on my other KJ, and the roof light indicator on the cluster doesn't work. the fog light indicator works with fog lights on. Swap the cluster in from the renegade, and the roof light and fog light indicators work accordingly....the part time indicator works, but not the full time.

I imagine that it has nothing to do with body computer or any other computers, and that it is something specifically in the programming in the cluster. Anyone have experience with modding the clusters to work with new add-ons?

All the knowledge is based off of 2002 only. All vehicles discussed here were/are 2002's.

went for a test drive, came back, now it works. Maybe the BCM needed to learn it.
