So I'm gonna attempt to install my CB again tomorrow. I grabbed a 100 Watt PA and a 200 Watt amp. Question is, will my 200 Watt Amp blow my 100 Watt PA? Second question is, where do I hook up the REM wire to from the AMP? Do I hook it up to the Power on the CB so when the CB turns on the amp draws power from the battery and powers the CB and the PA?

*****EDIT*****

I think I figured out that I need to hook up my Amp (+) to the battery, the (-) obviously to the ground, and the REM Wire to the radio fuse in the fusebox. Additionally, I think I should tap into the Amps (+) wiring running to the Fusebox and its (-) running to the ground. That way both turn on when I start the car. However, I'm still confused about the 100watt PA and 200 Watt amp. I dont want to blow the PA. Will it work ok?

It's been a long time since I've worked with amps, but my understanding is that the wattage rating is the maximum available output, not the nominal output. I'm reasonably certain that your PA system will simply draw what it needs from the amp, and the amp will supply what is demanded of it up to it's rated maximum output. So in your case, your 100 watt PA system will draw 100 watts of power from your 200 watt amp, and the other 100 watts of amp capacity will simply remain as unused available overhead.

Just did a little googling and sure enough: http://www.chasehometheater.com/forum/s ... .php?t=190

So you should be fine with that big honkin' amp. Just make sure that the impedance (Ohm rating) matches.

Thanks

As an update I hooked up everthing. It is confirmed that both the (+) and REM wire need to be hooked up to a power source in order to power the amp on and your right the PA pulls the wattage it needs. Works great.
