Had a 2.8crd Renegade manual for about 3 months now and love it. Took the plunge and ordered the RockFather11 OME kit for my truck and fitting it was a right Bast...d.
Still got probs in setting the camber up and is going to London Jeep for them to rejig it.
Bigger tyres go on next .
Any of you guys had a PO803 1-4 upshift Solenoid Control Circuit Malfunction code come up .
Sorry if its the wrong place to ask !
Also i,m a 4x4 responder for Hants and Berks so my truck does some valuable work in bad weather ferrying Drs Nurses and other essential staff when the weather says no.
Thanx Guys
Ian

Sorry i didnt join lostjeeps earlier.
Just read up about RRO.
Luckily i didnt buy the Upper control arms just the good quality ome stuff.
Although the longer rear springs were not marked OME ?the longer rear shocks were .
Any Ideas?
Also is it possible to get the camber set right with this rig .
I,m a bit thick were suspension is concerned but if i may explain?
Both Front wheels tip inwards , i am aware theres still space for adjustment in the elongated holes were you adjust the camber.
is my explanation making any sense .
Bear with me i will get there lol
Oak

Welcome Oak!!
I am in the UK to, up in Cambridge area.
I also have OME lift with extra JBA upper arms and more. Where did you buy you lift kit? OME 132 L are not available in Europe and must be imported from the US or Australia (if you are luck to get a contact).
yes, it's hard to get the tracking back to orignial factory specification, mine are like you say, they look like the front tires are pointing in the wrong direction, but the Tracking is nearly back to factory and the KJ run straight down the road. Make sure your front bushes aren't seased, I had to replace them all.

Welcome OAK,

Did your lift kit actually ship from Heber City, Utah, USA???

If so. . I'm a scenic 50 mile drive from their shop. I drove over there when I was shopping lift kits. NO, I didn't buy their stuff.

I think the strut plate is a good design. May be a problem if you got a real 3 inch lift in front. That's about the height you need a re-designed upper control arm. Check out the lift threads here and maybe PM TJKJ to find out more. ALSO, check out RRO website and contact them. This problem isn't new.

LOL, we don't know anything about manual trans codes here, we only have auto transmissions (for the women and kids apparently) :}

You've got a 2.8 CRD Renegade with a manual trans??? If so, count your many blessings everyday and get a good shop to tweak the camber into spec.

again, welcome
