I have a few issues I need to look at. First I think My OEM CV on the passenger side is probably almost at the end of it's life. It's not making noise yet, but I have a feeling.... I also think I might have a broken spring clip on the passenger side as well since there is a lot of in and out movement then I don't ever remember there being.

Get your seals online. It is a dealer only item that they charge 25 to 30 bucks for. A lot of online places have it for 7.99 :banghead:

Roof rack is all done now! Wires are inside the jeep, and I just need to install the relay/switch/run wires and it'll be working!

I leveled out the front of my Jeep today using the JBA adjust a struts. The rear sits at 22 inches (center of the wheel to flare) and the front now sits at 21 1/2. Although the adjust a strut can go higher than that, 21 1/2 is the max that Diggerfreek says he can do without his KK eating through his CV boots too often. So there is only a slight rake to my KK now, and it looks and drives great. Also, no ESP issues so far (knock on wood). :JEEPIN:

I'm curious to see if the lift hurts gas mileage at all. Do you still have the air dam on?

Me too. I'll keep track of that and follow up. I'm still running 225/75/R16's with the lift and my Scangauge doesn't think there is too much of a difference in mpg before vs. after lifting. If I went to larger tires, that would certainly make a difference. The air dam is still on. The biggest drag is my roof basket, which takes about 2 mpg off of what I get on the highway.

I took her in to the stealership for a violent vibration, again, but was told its the tires, again. :furious: these guys must think I'm an idiot. After a "shakedown" by the mechanic :?: , he said everything is solid. I was told that he drove it and noticed a "slight vibration" but it must be those aftermarket tires causing the problem. There's 31000 miles on the clock and I feel they're trying to avoid messing with it. While I was waiting for my key in the customer waiting area, I somewhat loudly made an appointment at another shop for the repair. Today I called Jeep and complained. They're going to call the service manager Monday, too late. I'm done with them and will voice from the highest mountain not to go to Fred Martin, the service with a smile comes with a knife in the back. :banghead: I should've switched dealerships a long time ago. Hopefully, the damage isn't too severe from the two years of driving it like this.

Installed my Stereo System...

Sony App Radio MEX-BT4100P
Bazooka BTA8100FHC Bass Tube

Sounds much better than Stock, set HPF on all factory speakers and Set the Sub to 80hz. Install Difficulty was about a 6 on my scale. Removing the rear panel was a PITA..

For that small of diameter sub and stock speakers I would set your LPF to 120Hz or 150Hz

The Bazooka is a fixed 85hz crossover.

Looking good! 8)

Anyways, it was beautiful out today and I thought about washing it, but then realized "oh wait, it's only 40* out"....and I had to be at work "early" so I decided not to....then it sat in the parking lot of my job from 2-9. Maybe sometime this week it'll get lucky and be washed.

_benjammin, your KK looks awesome with your new lift.

So, what did I do to my KK today? Wished I could go drive it or wheel it... Took a 5 minute break to go visit it, pop the hood, and check the washer fluid, coolant, and brake fluid levels. Not exciting, but but I got to smile when my new hood strut mod lifted the hood for me... 8)
